I'm 90% happy with this build. 90% because he's so freakin adorable as a Pokemon! The 10% is because of the obvious lines!!!

I was thinking about taking the picture from an angle that didn't make them obvious but most angles showed them anyway :P So instead he's a lesson...

"Don't use a dark marker to color in edges!"

White lines are noticeable. Lines that are colored in with a too dark orange marker are arguably worse. Ironically I used the same marker with Growlithe but I guess his orange is darker than Buizels.

But aside from that, easy build. Head can be posed to a degree.

yes I hate to use markers, I use coloring markers though (they are the same right? :D)

and erm yes the "lines" are a bit darker then the rest, but it doesn't take the very smooth build away.

GAH! So cute! ^w^

I LIKE the "obvious" lines. I think it's cool!

sometimes the lines do look nice since you can see it as a a sum of the parts to get all philosophical =P

I think this one is cute :D

The marker don't work quite well, I use pencils and I pass them very carefully on the edges, that works a lot fine for me :D Mixing light and dark pencils of the same color might work as well, to create a new color.

I've actually never thought of using a color pencil :wow: I assume it'd take longer than a marker since you can't just make a quick line on the edge. Totally going to try that though when I don't have a good marker for line coloring

Thanks for the idea!!!

Use a pencil and don't color the edges at the end, color them as you go, so you can aply presure from the inside. Takes long, but the result is much better. Try it on your next model.

You're welcome :D Any help, just ask :D
